About the Center
Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Research Center
University of Kashan, in line with utilizing the modern technologies of the country and with regard to the current capacities of the institute, has established the Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Research Center with the goal of:
- Endeavoring to increase the scientific and applied knowledge in nanotechnology
- Training specialized graduates in Masters and PhD level
- Endeavoring to commercialize the results of researches conducted in the institute
- Providing scientific and applied solutions to expand the usage of nanotechnology in industrial and technological development of the country
- Applying the latest scientific advances in all research areas to promote nanoscience and nanotechnology in national level
- Developing communication between the research center and Iranian researchers and scholars of nanotechnology residing in other countries
- Holding seminars, courses, and workshops to promote nanoscience and nanotechnology in national level
Duties:
In regard to the goals set for this Research Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, the following are some of the duties of the center:
- Conducting fundamental and applied researches in nanotechnology
- Creating, developing, and equipping educational and research spaces related to the research center at the university
- Training specialized and efficient human resources
- Defining, editing, and reviewing the research projects related to the research center
- Developing corrective and development programs
- Holding scientific seminars and conferences along with endeavoring to introduce the research activities of the research center through publications, gazettes, etc.
- Endeavoring to attract national and international experts and Iranian graduates for cooperation
- Detecting the methods for application of research results related to nanotechnology in industry and commercialization of it
